Alex enjoys taking part in many outdoor activities ranging from hiking to horse riding and sailing to surfing.  Her passion for the outdoors began whilst doing her Bronze DofE Award at school which eventually led her to studying for a degree in Adventure Education at the University of Chichester.  Alex was a volunteer instructor for World Challenge and since then she has had a range of jobs within the outdoor industry all of which have taught her new things.  Alex has extensive experience of working with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, initially at Gordonstoun school as DofE co-ordinator, and later as Unit leader for the Ocean Youth trust and Duchess Community High school.  She is currently working alongside Paul in delivering expedition training as independent providers to Westfield Girls school.
